Btw, I didn't made it... One guy offered to make free avatars in his journal, and I participated.. I don't remember his name though, it was few months ago :( If I find him, I'll let you know. And about software... You can make animated avatars with Adobe Image Ready (it comes with Photoshop CS2, NOT CS3), or with some other software like Ulead Gif animator... Google for it :)
